There can be many problems due to which screen can go blank. But in my case it was the problem of refresh rate. Since my monitor supported 60 Hz only but by something which i couldn’t figure out have changed my refresh rate to 75 Hz. So i wasn’t able to log into the ubuntu GUI. I searched for the solution for it and found that the screen resolution in 8.10 is handled by a file monitors.xml.
And this file is located in home directory of user in .config directory.

Since my childhood i had been fascinated with the mathematics. But also i had been one of the dullest student with regards to math. Mathematics is quite magical. Recently my friend Chhokila send me an email in which there was very interesting number. Today i am going to share that number with you.

Day 1: I was pretty new in the field of Linux since most of my time on computing was with Windows until this day. But when i listened to the presentation given by the trainers about foss and Linux i was quite impressed and opted to be a linux user. This day we had basic information about the Foss and Linux, its speciality and its power.
